Currently finishing a highly detailed ink drawing which has taken, against my expectations, nearly a month to complete. It's extremely dense but engaging as it is suggesting new images to me. This is called momentum and is critical to keeping the work fresh. This weekend I will be starting new images, after spending the last few weeks just soaking up impressions, not consciously pushing anything one way or another, but just letting ideas flow. I've been listening to Hecq a lot, and Blackfilm, as well as talking with friends about various projects they are doing. These things all come together.
